School Projects

Integrated Marketing Communications

Client: Brain Injury Association of Ohio

Throughout this project, I collaborated with a team of five classmates to create marketing strategies for the client. We suggested a more consistent social media schedule, flyers and brochures, a greater awareness of the organization throughout hospitals, and partnerships with hospitals. The goal of the project was to increase the awareness of the client through different strategies. Overall, this project taught me more about marketing strategies and the ways they can be implemented in an organization. It also helped me understand the difference between marketing for a non-profit compared to a for-profit business.

Brand Management

Client: Awaken Bake Co.

For this client, we focused on getting their name out there more. They are a family-run bakery that is very well-known in the Hudson area. However, they wanted to expand and get people from neighboring towns more interested in their bakery. We suggested referral programs, loyalty programs, and a more polished website. Overall, this project taught me more about marketing for a smaller, family-run business. The approach is different but still follows common marketing procedures.

Marketing Capstone

Client: Summit Metro Parks

The capstone course is a way to incorporate all of what a student has learned throughout their college career into one project. The client, Summit Metro Parks, has been struggling for some time with engaging a young adult audience. For this project, we created a custom marketing campaign that reaches a younger demographic. We suggested that Summit Metro Parks create an app, host various young adult-centered events, run various contests across the parks, and sell merchandise for a young adult audience. Overall, this project has helped me understand how a company can implement a marketing campaign. When a company is struggling to meet a certain demographic, shifting its strategy to incorporate things that target market is interested in is the most beneficial strategy.
